These microorganisms can contaminate food at any point during production, processing, transportation, storage, or preparation. 


Symptoms :- 

Food poisoning symptoms can vary based on the type of microorganism responsible for the contamination and the amount of contaminated food or drink consumed. However, some of the most common symptoms of food poisoning include 


1. nausea and vomiting

2. abdominal pain and cramping

3. diarrhea (which may be bloody)

4. fever and chills

5. headache

6. fatigue

7. muscle aches

8. dehydration. 

Symptoms can develop within a few hours to a few days after consuming contaminated food, and the severity can range from mild and self-limiting to severe and requiring medical attention. It is important to stay hydrated and seek medical attention if symptoms persist or are severe.

1. Wash your hands: Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before handling food, after using the bathroom, and after touching pets or any other potential sources of contamination.


2. Clean surfaces and utensils: Clean and disinfect all surfaces and utensils that come into contact with food, including countertops, cutting boards, and knives.


3. Be aware of expiration dates: Check the expiration date on food products and discard any that are past their expiration date.

4. Be cautious when eating out: Choose restaurants with a good reputation for food safety and avoid eating food that looks or smells suspicious.
